Overview
The RTC-168 combines dry-block and wet-bath calibration in one portable unit, covering −30 to 165°C (−22 to 329°F). Official documentation describes a liquid system with a faster magnetic stirrer, a removable liquid container, and an upper opening that accepts sensor flanges up to 84 mm. A sanitary sensor insert supports contamination-free dry-block work. The JOFRA RTC Series is AMETEK’s most advanced portable reference temperature calibrator family, covering −100 to 700°C (−148 to 1292°F) across the series. Patented Dynamic Load Compensation delivers temperature uniformity in the insert when calibrating large or multiple sensors, and dual- or triple-zone control maintains homogeneity in the well. Accuracy is up to ±0.04°C with stability to ±0.005°C (model dependent). Every RTC model uses an advanced-simplicity interface available in English, German, Chinese, and Japanese, with Plug and Play intelligent reference sensors, fast heating and cooling, and JofraCal calibration software. Dry-block and combination dry-block/liquid-bath models are available.
