Overview
The Additel 710 is an automated dial and digital gauge calibration system for metrology labs, calibration service providers, and industrial workshops. It combines a precision pressure connection platform with AI-powered visual calibration and machine learning so gauge readings are taken from the camera stream rather than by eye. When paired with an Additel pressure controller and ACal software, the 710 runs a fully automated, unattended sequence — camera alignment, recognition, tapping, and data capture — which cuts manual steps and human error on high-volume work.
A 50-megapixel HD camera auto-zooms and focuses. An intelligent motorized platform centers the instrument and sets camera distance for radial (side) and axial (bottom) gauges, including a Flip-Extend Sync fixture for small-diameter axial gauges. Recognition accuracy is better than 0.1 division on standard single-pointer, single-scale gauges; dual-scale (inner/outer) gauges are supported. A built-in tapper stabilizes analog pointers. An integrated barcode and QR scanner sends asset data to ACal. Up to ten 710 units can be daisy-chained with ACal and the ADT100-710-KIT cascading kit.
Pressure range is −14.5 to 15,000 psi (−1 to 1,035 bar) on liquid media, or −14.5 to 6,000 psi (−1 to 420 bar) on gas. Media are nitrogen, compressed air, or liquid (once used with liquid, do not use for gas). Inlet is a 1/4 BSP male hand-tight quick connector. DUT ports are 1/4 NPT, 1/2 NPT, 1/4 BSP, 1/2 BSP, or M20×1.5 female. The 5-inch TFT touchscreen, WLAN, and Ethernet sit in a 7.48 × 10.82 × 15.43 in (190 × 275 × 392 mm) enclosure that weighs 8.5 kg.
