Overview
The Additel 227 is a portable documenting process calibrator that sources, simulates, and measures pressure, temperature, and electrical signals from a smartphone-like color touchscreen. Automated calibration tasks store pass/fail and hysteresis results on the instrument — up to 10,000 tasks on ADT227 (1,000 on ADT227Ex) — and sync with Additel ACal for paperless calibration management. ADT227-HART adds a built-in full HART communicator with a regularly updated DD library at no extra cost. An ATEX-certified intrinsically safe model (ADT227Ex / ADT227Ex-HART) is available for hazardous locations, and ADT227P / ADT227P-HART are the panel-mount configurations.
Accuracy is improved versus prior generations, including electrical accuracy of 0.005% RD + 0.005% FS, high-static differential pressure to 0.002% FS, and tighter thermocouple measurement with improved cold-junction compensation. Dual pressure-module ports, a built-in barometer, True RMS voltage measurement to 300 V AC (non-Ex), USB-C, and Bluetooth are standard. The IP67 housing is drop-tested to 1 meter. The removable Li-ion battery typically runs about 12 hours on ADT227 and up to 35 hours on ADT227Ex.
Onboard apps cover documenting tasks, HART communication, high-static differential pressure, leak test, safety-valve test, analog transmitter calibration, data logging (ADT227 / ADT227-HART), unit conversion, and thermal calculations. Every unit includes an ISO 17025 accredited calibration certificate with data. From $8,882.
