Overview
The Additel 158Ex is the field-switchable digital pressure module for Additel 273Ex and 260Ex handheld calibrators. It mounts on the bottom of the handheld — swap the module in the field and the same 260Ex recorder or 273Ex calibrator covers a new range without a second instrument. Every silicon sensor is aged, tested, and screened before assembly. ATEX intrinsically safe only when used with ADT260EX or ADT273EX.
Gauge, compound, vacuum, and barometric ranges run from ±2 psi up to 60,000 psi (4,200 bar). Most ranges are 0.02% FS; low-range GP2 / GP5 / CP2 and high-range GP15K–GP40K are 0.05% FS; GP50K / GP60K are 0.1% FS. The optional ADT158Ex-BP barometer (60–110 kPa, ±55 Pa) is the cheapest configuration. Ports: 1/4 and 1/2 NPT or BSP male, M20×1.5, or Autoclave F-250-C / M-250-C on high-pressure models. Stainless enclosure, 33 × 123 mm, 0.4 kg. ISO 17025 accredited calibration with data included.
Unlike the Additel 151 — the removable control module that swaps into 773 / 783 / 793 benchtop controllers — and unlike the Additel 161 — a standalone intelligent module for process calibrators, tablets, and the external Lemo ports on 260Ex / 273Ex — the 158Ex is the bottom-mount handheld module. 403 configurations.
