Overview
The Additel 918 is a hand-operated pneumatic comparison test pump for generating 95% vacuum to 1,500 psi (100 bar). A high-quality screw press provides fine pressure adjustment to 0.001 psi (10 Pa / 0.1 mbar). A specially designed shut-off valve holds the pressure as stable as possible during calibration. A built-in gas-liquid isolator protects the pump from moisture and dirt so maintenance stays minimal. The 918 can be special ordered to comply with oxygen-free applications.
Two hand-tight quick connectors take the reference gauge and the device under test — no PTFE tape or wrenches. Port choices are 1/4 NPT, 1/2 NPT, 1/4 BSP, 1/2 BSP, or M20×1.5 female. The pump weighs 5.7 lb (2.6 kg) and uses air as the media. SET models add the 9904-918 carrying case for one 918 pump and two gauges. Twenty O-rings are included.
Compared with the Additel 917 (pneumatic, 95% vacuum to 1,000 psi / 70 bar, 5.7 lb) the 918 is the next pneumatic step on the same portable chassis. The Additel 920 is the high-pressure pneumatic pump — 95% vacuum to 3,000 psi (200 bar). This page is the 918 family only; there is no 918HV variant.
