Overview
The Crystal APM CPF Series is a portable, self-contained pressure module with an integrated Crystal CPF female connection. Official AMETEK copy: it offers the functionality and flexibility to perform pressure calibrations with a multifunction signal calibrator, and when connected to a hand-held pressure calibrator the APM can expand that calibrator’s range.
Accuracy is 0.025% of reading on 30 / 100 / 300 psi modules (0 to 30% of range ±0.0075% of full scale; 30 to 110% ±0.025% of reading) and 0.05% of reading on 1,000 / 3,000 / 10,000 / 15,000 psi modules (0 to 30% ±0.015% of full scale; 30 to 110% ±0.05% of reading). Figures include linearity, hysteresis, repeatability, temperature, and one-year stability. Modules are fully temperature compensated from −20 to 50°C — no change in accuracy over the operating range after zeroing.
Seven ranges cover vacuum through 15,000 psi / 1,000 bar / 100 MPa. Calibration data lives in the module, so any APM can be combined with any compatible JOFRA indicator without pairing calibration. The enclosure is machined aluminum (1.4 × 1.4 × 3.0 in, 0.51 lb). Connection is Crystal CPF female; a 1/4 in male NPT adapter is included unless BSP, M20, or 15,000 psi is specified. Everyday thread wear shifts to that replaceable CPF adapter. Crystal Engineering calibration facilities are A2LA accredited (#2601.01).
