Overview
The Crystal ATMi is an intrinsically safe advanced temperature module for the Crystal HPC50 Series. Official AMETEK copy: two ATMi modules can be connected to a single HPC50, in addition to the two installed pressure modules, so you can read pressure together with ambient and process temperature on the same instrument. The official manual states the HPC50 is currently the only Crystal calibrator supported by the ATMi.
Temperature measurement is ±(0.015% of reading) + 0.02 Ω over 0 to 400 Ω, 4-wire, with 0.01 resolution on °C, K, °F, R, and Ω. TCR is 0.003850 Ω/Ω/°C (IEC 60751). The module is temperature compensated from −20 to 50°C. Calibration data is stored in the module, so any ATMi works with any HPC50 without pairing calibration.
Housing is machined stainless steel (2.5 × 1.1 in, 0.31 lb). Approvals: Ex ia IIC T4/T3 Ga, FTZU 18 ATEX 0043X, IECEx FTZU 18.0012X, and Class I, Division 1, Groups A, B, C, and D. Interface cables are 1, 3, or 10 m. Optional JOFRA Pt100 (IS, −40 to 150°C) and STS050 probes are available. Each module ships with ISO 17025 / A2LA and NIST-traceable calibration certificates.
