Crystal APMi Series Advanced Pressure Module Intrinsically Safe

Overview

The Crystal APMi is an intrinsically safe advanced pressure module with an integrated CPF female connection, built for the Crystal HPC50 Series. Official AMETEK copy: in addition to the two installed modules in the HPC50, two APMi modules can be connected so you can expand the HPC50’s range, view four pressure readings at once, or read two different differential pressures. The official manual states the HPC50 is currently the only Crystal calibrator supported by the APMi.

Accuracy at 18–28°C is ±(0.01% of full scale) from 0 to 30% of range and ±(0.035% of reading) from 30 to 110%, with vacuum ±(0.05% of full scale) on 300 psi and lower. Over −20 to 50°C those figures become ±(0.015% FS) and ±(0.050% of reading). Eight ranges cover vacuum through 10,000 psi / 700 bar. Calibration data is stored in the module, so any APMi works with any HPC50 without pairing calibration.

Housing is machined stainless steel (2.9 × 1.1 in, 0.39 lb). Approvals: Ex ia IIC T4/T3 Ga, FTZU 18 ATEX 0043X, IECEx FTZU 18.0012X, and Class I, Division 1, Groups A, B, C, and D. A 1/4 in male NPT adapter is included unless BSP or M20 is specified; interface cables are 1, 3, or 10 m. Each module ships with an ISO 17025 / A2LA accredited, NIST-traceable calibration certificate.
