Overview
The Additel 993 is a handheld pneumatic pressure pump for generating 95% vacuum to 1,000 psi (70 bar). A dual-stage pre-pressure piston provides a broad pressure range with less effort. Lever-type pressurization stabilizes quickly (+30 psi / 2 bar per stroke), and a fine adjustment screw sets pressure to 10 Pa (0.1 mbar). The longitudinal layout and four operating positions make it a modern replacement for traditional handheld pumps.
Media is air. The pump weighs 3.5 lb (1.6 kg). Height is 4.8 in (122 mm); base 12.6 × 4.3 in (320 × 110 mm). Port choices are 1/4 NPT, 1/2 NPT, 1/4 BSP, 1/2 BSP, or M20×1.5 female. Included are 20 O-rings, a flexible hose (maximum pressure 630 bar), and one ADT100-X-FNG female quick connector for the DUT. SET models add the 9901-992 carrying case.
Compared with the Additel 992 (same handheld form, 95% vacuum to 700 psi / 50 bar, pumps from $1,315) the 993 is the higher-range sibling. Compared with the Additel 917 (bench-style pneumatic, also 95% vacuum to 1,000 psi / 70 bar, 5.7 lb) the 993 is the handheld air pump — same top pressure, 3.5 lb, lever-type rather than screw-press. The Additel 918 is the next bench pneumatic step (1,500 psi / 100 bar). The Additel 920 is the high-pressure pneumatic pump (3,000 psi / 200 bar).
