Overview
STS-TC is the JOFRA thermocouple reference sensor family. Official AMETEK CTC-1205 documentation describes STS-TC reference sensors as plug and play: the connector memory chip stores sensor coefficients, unique serial number, temperature range, calibration date, and calibration interval.
Official CTC-1205 datasheet specifications for STS-TC-N: 100 to 1205°C / 212 to 2201°F; sensing element type TC-N; hysteresis 0.2°C / 0.36°F at 0°C / 32°F. Ordering example: STS-TC, thermocouple reference probe, 90° angled probe (STSTCNA1205). When a CTC-1205C is ordered including the STS-TC reference sensor, the package includes a full system calibration certificate as well as a certificate for the block.
