Overview
The Additel 850 is a horizontal laboratory thermocouple calibration furnace with temperature control from 100 °C to 1200 °C. It is a 3-in-1 furnace: one chassis covers short-probe work, long-probe work, and annealing, with nine selectable modes on the 7-inch pivoting color touchscreen. Multi-zone control, quick-cool, a sliding probe holder with depth graduations and clamp, and patent-pending EMF shielding are built in. Stability is ±0.1 °C (300 to 1200 °C). In the long (deep) modes, axial and radial uniformity are ±0.2 °C at 1200 °C (datasheet Rev 20251203). Set points below 300 °C are allowed; they may take longer to heat and stabilize.
Inserts split noble-metal and base-metal work. The alumina-tube kit (ADT850-1200-ALUM / ADT110-850-ALUM) is for noble-metal thermocouples — 26 mm OD × 20 mm ID long tube and 22 mm OD × 16 mm ID short tube. The long cup (ADT850-1200-CUPL / ADT110-850-CUP-LONG) and optional short cup / multi-hole metal inserts are for base-metal thermocouples. Empty-chamber modes cover mixed noble and base metal work. Display accuracy in long empty-chamber mode is ±5 °C — this is a laboratory furnace meant to be used with an external reference, not a portable dry well. Heater 4000 W, 220 V ±10% 50/60 Hz, 20 A.
