  • Diagnostic Temperature & mA Calibrator PIE 525Plus | RTD , Thermocouple and loop calibrator

    • Three Calibrators in One! Calibrate all your Thermocouple, RTD instruments AND your milliamp loops with the PIE 525Plus. It has all the functions of a 12 type RTD calibrator, 14 type thermocouple calibrator and can source 0 to 24 milliamps or simulate a two wire transmitter like a milliamp calibrator. You may also perform stand alone calibrations of two wire transmitters by simultaneously supplying the RTD or thermocouple input signal while supplying the 24 volts to power up the transmitter and monitoring the milliamp output signal. Powers HART™ transmitters with built-in 250 ohm resistor simplifying hookups with HART communicators.
    • Troubleshoot loop problems Quickly diagnose ground fault and current leakage with the patented loop diagnostic technology (US Patent# 7,248,058)
    • Calibrate directly in temperature (°C & °F) Stop carrying around a decade box and RTD resistance tables. The PIE 525Plus works with the RTDs you use including Platinum 10, 50, 100, 200, 500 & 1000 Ohm (alpha = 3850), Platinum 100 Ohm (alpha = 3902, 3916, 3926), Copper 10 & 50 Ohm, and Nickel 120 Ohm. Or calibrate from 0.000 to 400.000 and 0.00 to 4000.00 Ohms. For RTDs the fixed or pulsed sensor current is measured by the calibrator.   Have thermocouples  also?  Choose from  J, K, T, E, R, S, B, N, G, C, D, L (J DIN), U (T DIN) or P (Platinel).  Or calibrate from 13.000 to 80.000 mV
    • Measure RTD sensors Trouble shoot sensor connections and find broken wires with patented technology. Connect your two, three or four wire RTDs and the PIE 525Plus automatically detects the connections and measures the RTD in degrees C or F. Secondary display shows the resistance value corresponding to the RTD temperature. No competitor’s calibrator is compatible with as many process instruments; also displays excitation current to confirm your RTD transmitter is working properly.
    • Calibrate thermocouple instruments with lab accuracy and stability The internal cold junction thermistor is accurate to ±0.05°C and is traceable to NIST. The sensor is thermally bonded to an isothermal mass including brass blocks with screw terminals for connection of bare thermocouple wires along with a miniature thermocouple connector for fast connections. An extremely stable voltage reference and low drift components make it more accurate than most other handheld & benchtop thermocouple calibrators. The PIE 525Plus is capable of meeting the requirements of an AMS 2750 Field Test Instrument when certified by an accredited laboratory.
    • Replace thermocouples before costly failures Troubleshoot thermocouple probes by measuring the resistance of the cables and sensing element, allowing you to replace high resistance probes before they burn out.  Open thermocouples and ones with impending failure are indicated by  “OPEN TC” and the resistance value on the 525Plus display.
    • Checkout all your 4 to 20 mA loops & instruments With the built-in milliamp calibrator you can check, calibrate and measure all your current signal instruments in a 4 to 20 milliamp loop. • The Type T tester is a dead weight tester that offers laboratory accuracy in an instrument designed to withstand an industrial environment or daily stresses of a manufacturing environment. Each tester features a re-entrant type measuring piston and cylinder assembly. This design reduces the rate of fluid leakage and increases float time, helping to maintain accuracy as test pressures increase. • Accuracy to 0.015% of reading • Ranges to 15,000 psi • Available in psi, kg/cm², bar, and kPa • Small incremental weight sets available. A dual volume pumping feature allows a large volume of fluid to be added at low pressures to fill the system and increase pressure rapidly. Once filled, switch to a smaller volume to easy pumping and provide finer control at higher pressures. • Overhung weight carrier reduces side thrust and friction • Over-pressure protection prevents piston damage • 3- leg design with bulls-eye leveling system • Single and dual column versions available to meet a wide variety of applications
