Overview
PIE’s optional Repair/Replacement Warranty (RP-WAR) is available on new orders only. Under RP-WAR, equipment is warranted against any damage or malfunction that may cause the unit to fail for three years from the date of shipment. This replaces the standard three-year warranty that covers failures not due to external damage, and is intended to reduce total cost of ownership in rough plant environments.
Two part numbers are offered on piecal.com: RP-WAR-A for PIE models other than the 820 / 820PM / 820-Elite / 830 / 830PM / 850 / 535 group, and RP-WAR-B for Models 820, 820PM, 820-Elite, 830, 830PM, 850, or 535. Coverage is limited to one complete replacement during the warranty period; a replaced unit carries the standard warranty for the remainder of the three years or a minimum of one year from shipment.
