Overview
The PIE 850 is built for plants that still run 10–50 mA loops as well as modern 4–20 mA systems. Source and read 0.000 to 24.000 mA or 0.000 to 52.000 mA (−25.00 to 125.00% of 4–20 mA, or −25.00 to 105.00% of 10–50 mA), with loop power capable of driving transmitters and positioners on 10–50 mA loops. Patented Ground Leak Detection works in both milliamp ranges.
Beyond milliamp, the 850 covers voltage, frequency, pH simulation (0.000 to 14.000 pH @ 25 °C), thermocouples, and RTDs. Milliamp accuracy is ≤ ±(0.02% of reading + 0.003 mA); thermocouples ≤ ±(0.02% of reading + 0.01 mV) with cold-junction compensation of ±(0.1 °C + 0.005%/°C); RTD/Ω ±(0.025% of reading + 0.075 Ω).
A single handheld for mixed milliamp standards and temperature/electrical work. Made in the USA with NIST-traceable Certificate of Calibration.
