Overview
The PIE 422 sources and measures thermocouple types J, K, T, E, R, S, B, N, G, C, D, L (J-DIN), U (T-DIN), and P (Platinel II), plus −13.000 to +80.000 mV. Cold-junction compensation is ±0.05 °C with an 11-year NIST-traceable thermistor on an isothermal brass block—screw terminals for bare wire plus a miniature connector for fast hookups.
Secondary displays show millivolt value and measured cold-junction temperature. Automatic stepping and EZ-CHECK speed calibration of transmitters, PLCs, DCS, and recorders. When certified by an accredited lab, the 422 can meet AMS 2750 field test instrument requirements for heat-treating uniformity surveys and system accuracy tests.
Includes rubber boot, tilt stand, and backlit display. Made in the USA with NIST-traceable Certificate of Calibration.
