Overview
The PIECAL 334 is a dedicated 4–20 mA loop calibrator for sourcing and reading loop current, simulating two-wire transmitters, and powering transmitters while measuring. Ranges cover 0.00 to 24.00 mA or −25.0 to 125.0% of 4–20 mA, with EZ-CHECK cardinal points at 4 and 20 mA specified to ≤ ±(0.025% of span).
Loop compliance is ≥ 24 DCV @ 20.00 mA with drive capability of 1200 Ω at 20 mA. Also reads DC volts for checking supplies and controller outputs. Rugged rubber boot and simple controls suit everyday instrument tech work.
Made in the USA; calibrated on NIST-traceable equipment with Certificate of Calibration.
