Overview
The STS Reference Sensors are Pt100 reference probes used as the reference instrument to verify true temperature in any type of hand-held, liquid bath, or dry-block calibrator. Official AMETEK series features include fast response times, low immersion depths, compact sizes, specified low drift, 90° angled probes, and accredited certificates up to 650°C as standard delivery.
The official JOFRA STS-120 A user manual states the probes are specially designed for fast and traceable calibration and temperature measuring with a JOFRA CTC temperature calibrator. Official type ranges: −45°C to 155°C / −49°F to 311°F (915); 0°C to 350°C / 32°F to 662°F (935); 0°C to 660°C / 32°F to 1220°F (966). The official STS selection guide lists STS-120 as a Pt100 reference sensor, solid, with intelligence, typically as a 90° angled sensor for CTC calibrators.
